Mr. Oyebode O.A. – Managing Director/CEO.
A challenge – driven and highly focused professional banker, Mr. Oyebode has worked in both Commercial and Microfinance institutions for well over a decade. He commenced his banking career with the defunct Trade Bank Plc, where he served the mandatory youth service corp. As a stepping stone from that bank, he joined Ibolo Community Bank as Head of Banking Operations between 2000 and 2001 and became the Assistant Manager between 2001 and 2003. Between 2007 and 2008, he rose to the post of Deputy Managing Director.
He left that bank to Blucon Microfinance Bank in September, 2008 as the General Manager and rose to Managing Director/CEO between March, 2010 and November, 2011.
He moved again to Apeks Microfinance Bank Limited as a continuation of his sojourn to pick the task of Business Development for the purpose of income generation for the bank – the first time such a post was created in the history of the bank. This he held successfully from October, 2011 till June, 2012 when the bank appointed him the Managing Director.
Mr. Oyebode who is a graduate of many institutions completed his National Diploma (in Banking and Finance) from Kwara State Polytechnic. He equally completed his HND in the same polytechnic. He went for PGD (in Finance Management) in the school of post-graduate studies) University of Ado-Ekiti. He went back to obtain his MBA in the same University in May, 2006.
In March, 2008 Mr. Oyebode proceeded to the University of Calabar to cap his studies where he was awarded Master’s Degree in Finance (M.Sc. Finance).
Mr. Oyebode is a well trained banker and a strong fighter of poverty through microfinance practice. He is a product of the renowned world-class School of African Microfinance.

Mr. Yomi Bejide – Head, FINCON, IT & SP
Mr. Yomi Bayo Bejide was born on 24th October 1968 in Ilorin into the family of Chief Samuel Ayodele & Mrs. Mary Olaegbe Bejide from Usi Ekiti, Ido/Osi Local Government Area, Ekiti State.
He started his elementary education career at St Barnabas primary school Ilorin and obtained primary school leaving certificate – 1982/1983. He obtained O/Level WAEC/GCE/SSCE from Bishop Smith Memorial College Ilorin and Awonga High School Shao in year 1990 and 1994 respectively. Furthermore, he proceeded and bagged certificate in Ordinary National Diploma (OND Accountancy) from Plateau School of Accountancy & Management Studies (PSAMS) Jos and Higher National Diploma (HND Accountancy) from Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin in 1993 and 1998 respectively. In the course of acquiring more knowledge He had diploma in computing at Diskabog Computer Institute Ilorin – 1997. He studied further and obtained Master’s Business Administration (MBA) from Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti – 2005. He qualified as a professional certified microfinance banker from Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) – 2011 and bagged certificate of proficiency from Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) – 2013.
He worked briefly as a casual staff and machine operator at defunct Tate & Lye Sugar Company Ltd Ilorin – 1990. He also had a brief stay at Chief S. A. Bejide & Sons (Construction Company) Ilorin – 1991 and Global Soap & Detergent Industries Ltd as Sales Rep – 1994.
He started his accountancy career with Otunola Adebayo & Co (Chartered Accountants) Ilorin in year 1994 and resigned June 2008 after 14 years of training and working experience. He commenced work in the Audit firm as Audit/Industrial Trainee and rose to the level of Audit Manager 1 (Audit) before exist.
Meanwhile, He joined Apeks Microfinance Bank Ltd in June 2008 as Head, Financial control & Admin till June 2012. However, due to restructuring that took place in the bank; an additional responsibility was added while the status and nomenclature changed to Head, Financial control, IT & SP. This post and position he occupied till date.
He had a very wide job exposure while in public practice and banking; this exposure and experience including auditing, accounting, taxation, consultancy, bank product development, customer selection & acquisition, deposit mobilisation/generation.

Mr. Lawal, O.A. – Head of Banking Operations
Mr. Lawal was born on 9th August, 1970 at Offa, in Kwara State.
He began his work experience with Trade Bank Plc from January, 1999 to January, 2006. He is a well trained banker with good exposure to virtually all the core areas of banking activity.
Between 1999 and 2001 he was trained through In-house courses organized by the bank on the following topics:
- Cash, Clearing and Computer Operations
- General Accounts and Local Transfers
- Introductory Credit Analysis
- Customer Service Improvement Skills and Customer Service Advantage
Between 2002 – 2003 he attended external courses on other vital topics such as:
- Comprehensive Banking Operations (G. Goke & Associates, Ibadan)
- Comprehensive Bank Inspection and Examination (George Davidson & Associates, Lagos.)
- Audit through Computer – Audit Command Language (CACS Lagos)

Between 1999 and 2002, Mr. Lawal served as Cash and Account Opening officer, General Account Officer, Credit Officer and Clearing and Transfers Officer. Between 2003 and 2004, he was appointed the Branch Controller of Docemo Branch and later of BBA & Alaba Branches.
He is a graduate of Agric Engineering from the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. He participated in the NYSC programme and served at Christ Royal Commercial Secondary School, Ihiala, Anambra State between 1997 and 1998. He is also a qualified Microfinance banker with MCIB certificate and a Student Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
Mr. Oseni Yekini A. – Head of Business Development
Mr. Oseni Yekini Adeshina was born on 9th September, 1974 at Offa, in Kwara State.
His work experience spanned through a decade beginning with Astra Assets Management Limited (2000 – 2003) as Administrative Officer, Ibolo Community Bank, Offa as Banking Officer, but rose to the post of Audit Manager in year 2009.
In July, 2011, Mr. Oseni was appointed by Apeks Microfinance Bank Limited as Head of Internal Audit department; the post he successfully held till January, 2014 when he was redeployed as the Head of Business Development department.
He is a well trained Microfinance banker. He attended various external courses such as Interim Capacity Building Programme, Centre for Microenterprise Development, CMD, Lagos, etc.
As a career microfinance banker, Mr. Oseni started education and obtained WAEC SSC certificate in 1992. He went further to enroll at Offa Polytechnic where he obtained both the OND (Financial Studies) and HND (Banking and Finance) certificates.
He proceeded further to study at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State where he bagged the PGD certificate. Mr. Oseni is a qualified microfinance banker having completed the CBN/CIBN mandatory MCIB examination certificate.
He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, NIM (Chartered).
Mr. Abu Sheidu – Head of Admin/Human Resources
Mr. Abu Sheidu was born on 24th June, 1972 at Ipaku, in Adavi L.G.A. of Kogi State.
He began his working life with Trade Bank Plc in 1990 as a Stenographer and rose to the post of Secretary II. He worked in different branches in different States as Secretary to the branch manager and on many occasion a relief Secretary.
He worked in the Inspection department of Trade Bank Limited (2002 – 2005) before the bank was liquidated owing to inability to recapitalize. In September, 2009, he was employed by the Apeks Microfinance Bank Limited as a Secretary, the post he held successfully for 3 years before his reappointment as the Acting Head of Admin and Human Resources department.
Mr. Abu has a wide range of experience. His hardwork and endurance paid off with his re-appointment by Apeks Microfinance Bank. He attended a number of external courses and trainings. They include: The Executive Secretary’s Course, Management Appreciation Course, and Management Course for Secretaries and Personal Assistants, Management Workshop for Secretaries. He also attended a course on Principles of Microfinance Bank.
He also has Certificate in Data Processing and Management Information System from the University of Ilorin in May, 2005.
Mr. Abu is a graduate of Akwa-Ibom State Polytechnic where he obtained HND in Secretarial Administration (2004/2005) and OND in Secretarial Duties at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko in Anambra State (1993/1995) aside his GCE O’ level exams.
Currently he is preparing to write the remaining papers to qualify as Microfinance Banker (MCIB).
He is a Student Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN.
Mr. Paulinus O. Ntamere – Head of Internal Audit department
Mr. Paulinus Ntamere was born on 14th November, 1981 at Imualumaku-Umuihim in Ehime-Mbano LGA of Imo State.
He completed his primary education at St. William’s RCM Primary School Ilorin between 1984 and 1989 and also at United Community Secondary School Ilorin between 1990 and 1993. Between 1994 and 1996, he schooled at Mount Carmel College, Oloje in Ilorin from where he proceeded to the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin and obtained OND certificate between 2001 and 2003.
He studied Computing at Cyberdom Internet and Computer Training School in Ilorin in 2004. Between 2005 and 2007, he enrolled at Kwara State Polytechnic and graduated with HND Certificate in Accounting.
He worked as a Clerical Officer at Bolma Petroleum Ltd between 2004 and 2005 and also as Farm Attendant and Farm Accountant and later as Assistant Farm Manager between 2008 and 2009 at Vika Farms Limited in Akwa-Ibom State.
He was employed by Apeks Microfinance Bank Limited as Banking Executive and began as Customer Service Officer, Cash Officer, Marketing Officer from 2009 till July, 2012 when he was reappointed Head of Business Development. He held this post successfully till January, 2014 when he was redeployed to head the Internal Audit department of the bank, the post he maintains till date.
Currently he is preparing to write the remaining papers to qualify as Microfinance Banker (MCIB).
Mr. Paulinus is a Student Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN.
Mr. Omoniyi Temitope Ayodeji – Head of Risk Management department
Mr. Omoniyi was born on 2nd December, 1978 at Oke-Onigbin in Isin LGA of Kwara State.
He completed his secondary education at NEPA Senior Staff School New-Bussa between 1984 and 1991, Government Secondary School Omu-Aran between 1992 and 1997 and Oyelagbawo Grammar School in 2002. He proceeded to Kwara State Polytechnic between 2002 and 2003 where he came out with OND in Banking and Finance. Between 2005 and 2006 he had his HND education and got the NYSC Discharge certificate between 2009 and 2010.
He worked as Marketing Supervisor between 2003 and 2005 at Contact Marketing Services Limited. Between 2007 and 2008 he was the Internal Control Officer at Self-Reliance Economic Advancement Programme (Microfinance Institution) SEAP. He became the Credit Officer of that institution between 2007 and 2008.
At Cristalife Assurance Company Plc, he was the Financial Adviser between 2008 and 2010 from where he shifted to Apeks Microfinance Bank Limited. He was engaged as Loan Accounting Officer between 2011 and 2012). He is presently the Risk Analyst in the bank.
Currently he is preparing to write the remaining paper to qualify as Microfinance Banker (MCIB).
